Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is evaluating a new express bus service for the Monterey Pennisula that would provide a seamless connection between Sand City, Seaside and Monterey along the Fremont - Lighthouse corridors. The project would create a more frequent and reliable bus service by improving intersections and signalization at various locations that currently experience significant levels of peak hour traffic congestion. Customer amenities such as shelters and electronic information signs would also be included along this corridor as a part of this Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) program.
