Bus Stop Beautification Programs

MST’s bus stop beautification programs are intended to allow community groups or individuals to sponsor a bus stop bench or shelter through a purchase, and/or volunteer for a single cleaning event, or “adopt” a bus stop for periodic cleaning and beautification efforts.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

Adopt-a-Stop

Volunteers provide regular clean-up commitment of bus stops as per an MST approved beautification schedule. Volunteers are asked to provide work crew and supervision, approved cleaning materials, work clothing and materials to pick-up and haul away trash. MST will provide a “how to” training program, list of approved cleaning materials, safety vests/stripes, and follow-up feedback with a volunteer supervisor. As thanks, MST will also place a plaque on the adopted bench or shelter.

Beautification & Red Curb Painting: One-Time Event

Volunteers provide one-time commitment to clean bus stops and paint curbs red. Volunteers are asked to provide work crew and supervision, approved cleaning materials, work clothing and materials to pick-up and haul away trash. MST will provide a “how to” training program, list of approved cleaning materials, MST designated paint, safety vests/stripes, and follow-up feedback with a volunteer supervisor.
