Request For Proposals #08-13
“Master
Developer for Marina Central Village Development”
MST is requesting proposals from qualified firms or
individuals interested in financing, designing, constructing and managing a 2.3
parcel of land located at 280 Reservation Road.
The
successful proposal will meet the following objectives:
A. Provide
the community, MST and the City of Marina with a new livable, pedestrian
friendly, mixed-use community development integrated with the adjacent transit
facility currently under construction by MST for use by transit customers and
the Marina public.
B.
Result in a successful land use lease, between the
development team and MST, for the land upon which the development is to be
built. MST anticipates retaining
ownership of the land and executing a ground lease with the selected
development team. However, MST may
consider proposals to purchase the property.
C.
Share revenue with and/or provide other financial benefits
to MST to reduce the continuing operational costs for the agency.
