The MST Board adopted
Resolution 2006-08 recognizing Sharon Roberts, Accounting Technician, as MST
Employee of the Month for October 2005 for recovering $51,957.21 from Golden
Gate Petroleum, who was holding funds from an overpayment. She has been an
asset to all departments on meeting payment due dates and assisting with
account payable inquires. Additionally, her input was essential in setting up
the requirements for the new IMMIS project.
The MST Board awarded a
three-year contract to Driver Alliant Insurance Services to provide broker
services for various MST insurance policies and to provide professional
expertise in evaluating MST’s needs for future expansion projects and
acquisitions. The Board also authorized staff to extend the contract for up to
two one-year extensions under the same terms, conditions and prices provided
the Insurance Broker has provided satisfactory service.
The MST Board approved the
Memorandum of Understanding with the MST Employees Association for the term
July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2008. This package contains a wage increase equal
to the percent of increase established by the U.S. Department of Labor
Statistics, Consumer Price Index (CPI). This increase shall not be less than 3%
and shall not exceed 5% of the employee’s base pay. This MOU also provides the
same benefits to the Confidential Unit.
