Service changes for local bus transportation provided by Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will go into effect Saturday, September 1, 2007.
The following lines will be changed or modified:
MST Trolley: Last day of service for the MST Trolley’s summer season is Labor Day.
Line 6 Edgewater-Ryan Ranch: Afternoon schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
Line 20 Monterey-Salinas via Marina: Afternoon schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance. Palma and Notre Dame trips now pick up at the schools 12 minutes later.
Line 22 Big Sur: Schedule changes to two round trips on weekends and holidays only.
Line 23 Salinas-King City: In King City, routing is changed from 1 st Street to 3 rd Street between San Antonio and Lynn. Bus stop at Mee Memorial Hospital is relocated to the opposite side of the street.
Line 24 Carmel Valley-Grapevine Express: Significant schedule adjustments have been made to improve connectivity at Carmel Rancho.
Line 43 Memorial Hospital : Afternoon pickup at Brunken & Malarin (Hope Services) is now a Line 20 bus that travels directly to the Salinas Transit Center via Abbott and Front Streets.
Line 55 Monterey-San Jose Express: Boarding location at the Monterey Transit Plaza is changed from Tyler Street to Pearl Street.
NEW Line 56 Monterey-Memorial Hospital: Begins Tuesday, September 4 th. Rush hour weekday service between downtown Monterey and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital with stops at Del Monte Center and Highway 68 at Laureles Grade Road, adjacent to the Park & Ride lot.
