The Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) Board of Directors elected Fernando Armenta as Chair and Thomas Mancini as Vice-Chair at their February 11, 2008 meeting. Fernando Armenta represents District 1 on the Monterey County Board of Supervisors. He has been on the MST Board since 1996, and has previously served as Chair and Vice-Chair. Thomas Mancini is a City Council Member for the City of Seaside. He has been on the MST Board since 1999, and has previously served as Vice-Chair.

The Board of Directors is composed of one representative from the County of Monterey plus one representative from eight cities MST serves, including; Carmel-By-The Sea, Del Rey Oaks, Gonzales (ex-officio), Marina, Monterey, Pacific Grove Salinas and Seaside.
