PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given pursuant to U. S.Department of Transportation / Federal Transit Administration (FTA), 49 C.F.R.Part 26, that Monterey-Salinas Transit has established an overall goal for the utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in conjunction with FTA-funded procurements and contracts for Monterey-Salinas Transit.

Monterey-Salinas Transit has established an overall goal of five (5) percent of U.S. Department of Transportation funds for DBE participation on all procurement, construction and consultant contracts for which U. S. Department of Transportation funds are received pursuant to the above stated regulation for a period beginning October 1, 2007, until September 30, 2008.

A program summarizing the goal, its establishment, and administration is available for inspection between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for a period of 45 days following the date of this notice at Monterey-Salinas Transit, One Ryan Ranch Road, Monterey, CA, 93940, or may be viewed at www.mst.org. MST will accept comments on the goal for 45 days from the date of the notice. Comments are for informational purposes only.
