On Monday, October 1, 2007, Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will begin bus service at the new Marina Transit Exchange on De Forest Road just south of Reservation Road. The following lines, which were directed to the temporary site at Seacrest Avenue and Reservation Road, will now be served at the new facility:

Line 16 Monterey: Gate 1
Line 20 Salinas: Gate 2
Line 20 Monterey: Gate 3
Line 2x Pebble Beach Express: Gate 4
Line 27 Watsonville: Gate 4

The Marina Transit Exchange is a $5 million project funded by the California Department of Transportation, the Federal Transit Agency and Local Transportation Funds. This new state-of-the-art facility features eight bus gates and real-time electronic bus arrival and departure signage. Customers may purchases passes and obtain information about MST services between 8:30 AM and 5:15 PM at the customer service window.
