Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) will provide limited bus service on New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2007. The following bus lines will be operated on New Year’s Day, operating on a Holiday Schedule:

Line 1 Asilomar-Lovers Point

Line 11 Edgewater-Carmel Express

Line 5 Carmel Rancho-Monterey

Line 20 Monterey-Salinas via Marina

Line 9 Fremont-Hilby

Line 41 East Alisal-Northridge

Line 10 Fremont-Ord Grove

Line 55 Monterey-San Jose Express will be operated on New Year’s Day on a Sunday Schedule. All other bus lines will not be in service on New Year’s Day. Regular MST bus service will resume on Tuesday, January 2 following the holiday.

MST Administrative offices in Monterey, the office at Salinas Transit Center and MST phone lines will be closed on Monday, January 1. The office at Salinas Transit Center and MST phone lines will be open again on Tuesday, January 2 with Administrative offices in Monterey remaining closed until Wednesday, January 3.
